Engine & Performance
0 to thrill in under 3 seconds
The new Nissan GT-R is astonishingly fast, achieving 0-60mph in 2.7 seconds with a 3.8 litre V-6 engine. Combine this with 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft. of torque and you have one seriously powerful driving machine. To keep this power under control, you have a six-speed, dual-control automatic transmission and rear-biased all-wheel drive, where torque can be split from 0:100 to 50:50.

The engine is hand-assembled by four world class engineers, from lightweight and durable aluminium and magnesium parts in a dust-free, temperature-controlled room. After the engine has been meticulously crafted, it undergoes a thorough testing phase to make sure it delivers outstanding performance on road and track. The making of a Nissan GT-R engine is no ordinary process; it takes real human skill and optimum conditions to get it right.
Attesa E-TS® All-Wheel Drive
This electrically controlled all-wheel (or 4 wheel) drive system can transfer up to 100% of torque to the rear wheels, and up to 50% to the front wheels. It combines the steering and response of rear-wheel drive, with the comfort and security of AWD.
Superior Aerodynamics
The functional and efficient design of the new Nissan GT-R give it super-low drag and class-leading aerodynamics. The rear spoiler creates downforce while the back bumper air vents push airflow towards the rear, simultaneously cooling the brakes. The scoops on the bonnet and front grille also work to cool the engine.
3.8-Ltr 550BHP Twin Turbo V6 Engine
Each of the cylinders in the Nissan GT-R engine has a unique plasma coating with its own intake system. The twin turbo system uses a Premium Midship (PM) design to improve balance, mainly in the chassis.
Bilstein® Damptronic® System
This system uses computerised controls to automatically adjust shock absorber damping. It monitors a total of 11 elements, including speed, torque, acceleration, engine, rpm and braking to achieve the best handling possible in all driving conditions.

The Nissan GT-R packs in many advanced car safety technologies, such as Hill Start Assist, Electronic Traction Control, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Nissan Anti-Theft System immobiliser, active noise cancellation and Nissan Intelligent key.
