Since announcing that they would finally be releasing a right-hand drive version of the iconic Ford Mustang model in the UK, Ford have taken 1,800 Mustang orders. Demand for the new muscle car has been overwhelming and now Sandicliffe are welcoming a brand new Mustang to Nottingham in order that you can see this model for yourself first-hand.
To help you find out more about the new Mustang, we’ll be welcoming a UK spec, right-hand drive model to our Trent Bridge FordStore between 10am on Tuesday 10th November and 4pm on Sunday 15th November.
Phil Lycett, Ford Manager at Sandicliffe Trent Bridge, said: “More than nine million Mustangs have been sold since its first model was produced in 1964 and, this year, British drivers have finally got the chance to buy an official right-hand drive model.
“The stylish and modern Mustang will not only appeal to car enthusiasts desperate to officially own this famous car for the first time but also to drivers of other sports cars who want to add a Mustang to their collection.”
The New Ford Mustang is available in either coupe or convertible models in right-hand drive with the choice of two engines. There is a 2.3l EcoBoost Petrol engine and a 5.0 V8 petrol engine and the Mustang has a bold and purposeful look featuring a distinctive upper ‘shark bite’ grille, low bonnet and the iconic Mustang logo in the centre of the grille.
Mr Lycett from Sandicliffe added: “The launch of the new Mustang is a huge event and so we’re delighted that East Midlands drivers will get the chance to see this superb new car for themselves ahead of its official release.
