Sandicliffe is returning to Gloworm Festival for 2022 and we want to bring you with us! To avoid missing out on the fun, you need to enter our fantastic competition! Simply register your details by June 30th to be in with a chance of winning a glamping ticket for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) that includes entry to the festival.
From the 12th to the 15th of August, Gloworm will be taking place in the beautiful Thoresby Park in Nottinghamshire. There is plenty to get excited about at this year\'s festival including music, games and unique activities. Gloworm is aimed at children up to 13 years of age, but also offers plenty for teens and grown-ups too.
Talking about all of the fun and games had with Sandicliffe in previous years, festival representatives said that “The Sandicliffe Zone was such an incredible part of the Gloworm Festival last year and it was incredible to see children let loose on one of their new vehicles. We are really looking forward to working with them again this year.”
We will be bringing our family-favourite “Draw on a Car” activity back to Gloworm Festival. Giving children (and adults!) the chance to draw on a brand new car in a truly one-of-a-kind activity. There’s no better way to get the whole family excited about new cars, and we’re excited to see how the car looks once you’ve all had your way with it!
Our Carpool Karaoke was another massive hit at last year\'s festival and we are beginning it back for 2022. This year, our karaoke stage is the front seats of a Nissan Juke. Come and see us take your turn inside the ultimate Juke-box and sing your heart out to your favourite songs.
The main stage will be a hub of entertainment for the whole family. This includes incredible tributes to some of the biggest acts in the world like; The Killers, Dua Lipa, Kings of Leon and David Bowie. There are also children\'s TV favourites like Justin Fletcher, Nigel Clarke and the legendary Mr Blobby.
Here at Sandicliffe, we’re most excited to see Boogie Storm, the dancing squad of Stormtroopers that reached the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2016. We’re certain that they will get us all in the mood for a boogie when British dance icons Phats & Small headline the main stage of the event on the Saturday.
Alongside all the excitement of the main stage, there is plenty more fun for the whole family. The fairground will provide plenty of fun, while Happy’s Circus will provide breathtaking entertainment and plenty of laughs. Then, the Tiny Tots Zone and Great Outdoors area will give little ones the chance to express themselves and meet farm animals.
Classic toy maker Playmobil will also be getting in on the fun at Gloworm Festival, with Shipwreck Cove offering plenty of pirate activities. There will also be a Playmobil Play Days area with games and life-sized Playmobil figures. For something completely unique, the Dinomania \'live dinosaur\' experience will give you a chance to feed a triceratops.
You can also book tickets in the VIP area for character meet and greets, a silent disco and a special model making class from Aardman, the legendary studio that made Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run, Shaun the Sheep, Morph and Creature Comforts. With so much going on, you will not want to miss out on the action at Gloworm Festival.
This year, we are sponsoring The Hive at Gloworm Festival. This cool area for tweens and teens will feature FourFour, Nottingham’s only DJ academy, drumming lessons with Kyle Comerie, and The Actual Reality Arcade, a life-sized interactive game zone for all ages inspired by 10 classic arcade games where you bring the games to life with your body.
Guaranteed to be a smash hit, House of Pain Wrestling will be bringing their action-packed show to The Hive. With death-defying stunts and performances, we cannot wait to see them in action.
