Stunning new car arrives in the East Midlands with a special launch weekend

One of the most eagerly awaited new cars arrives in the East Midlands this January. The all-new Mazda 6, unveiled at last year’s Moscow motor show, lands at Sandicliffe dealerships on 25 January 2013. The Mazda 6 gives you a choice of two engines, each in two different states of tune. The 2.0-litre petrol comes with either 143bhp or 163bhp, both with a six-speed manual transmission while the 2.2 litre diesel is available with 148bhp or 173bhp. And, as well as superb performance, the Mazda 6 is one of the most efficient cars around. What Car? reports that ‘for such a large car the Mazda 6 delivers great fuel economy and CO2 emissions figures.’ Safety features include front, side and curtain airbags, radar-controlled cruise control, brake support - which warns the driver if they are too close to the car in front - and Smart City Brake Support, which brings the car to a complete stop if it detects an imminent front-end collision at low speeds.
