The Nottingham Post Business Awards is back and has been refreshed for 2018 with 14 categories including a variety of new prizes. The Awards celebrate local developers, companies and businesses who support and nurture their staff and promote apprenticeships. We are delighted that for the first time Sandicliffe FordStore Nottingham will be sponsoring this year’s awards.
Sandicliffe FordStore Nottingham General Manager, Phil Wardle added "Sandicliffe FordStore Nottingham are delighted to be sponsoring the Nottingham Post Business Awards for our first year. This year we will be celebrating 70 years of Sandicliffe and as a long standing family run business in the East Midlands, we understand the importance of an event like this and the recognition and awareness these awards can bring for local businesses."
Phil went on to say:
“We understand that a thriving local economy feeds our own growth and aim to nurture local enterprise. We continue to be involved in business networking throughout Nottingham; it is what keeps our business relevant to our customers. Sponsorship of charities and organisations such as Beeston Hockey Club, the University of Nottingham and Nottingham’s Children’s Hospital are testimony to these links. The opening of our new FordStore has also provided many job training and development opportunities as we continue to grow and invest in the local economy.”
The big honour on the night will be the company of the year title, which is now it’s 31st year and was awarded last year to J Tomlinson, a building services firm based in Beeston. You can browse the categories for yourself on the Nottingham Post Business Awards site.
