Sandicliffe Partners With Loughborough Dynamo
Sandicliffe are proud to announce that we will be sponsoring the Loughborough Dynamo Junior under 12 Ambers football kit.
September 06, 2018
Started in 1972 going by the name Derwent Dynamo, the teams initially played in the Coalville Sunday Youth League, but in 1975 all teams joined the Leicester Leagues. At the beginning of the 1990/1991 season, the Club changed its name to Loughborough Dynamo Football Club and joined the senior sides to play at Nanpanton Sports Ground, Loughborough.
LDJFC recently had their first game of the season, winning 7-1 against Kibworth FC currently putting them at the top of the league table! Fingers crossed they can stay there for the rest of the season. Last season they took part in a mini-league which ran for the second half of the season in which they finished 3rd with 12 points.
LDJFC 17/18 Season
Last year the team also managed to reach the quarter finals of the county cup.
Gary Kirk, Loughborough Dynamo Junior FC, U12 Ambers Manager commented:
“After my son won a car design competition being ran by his local school and Sandicliffe, we met with Sandicliffe to collect his prize. Whilst talking we discussed my involvement in my son\'s football team, and Sandicliffe were interested to know if they could help to support the team in any way through sponsorship.
This was great timing as we had no sponsor at the time, so we agreed to get our current kit printed up, and Sandicliffe committed to buying a new kit for the 2018/19 season. The old kit has also been passed on to a new under 10\'s team.
