Millgate School on Scott Street in Leicester is a city maintained day and residential special school for boys aged between 11 and 16 who have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The school works tirelessly to meet the needs of some of the most disadvantaged children in the local community. All of the students have a Statement of Special Educational Needs and have dealt with hardships that no child should ever have to endure. Social, emotional and mental health difficulties of the students means that they all require a greater level of care and support. The school strives to ensuring that each student has the best support, education and experiences in life.
