Nissan is showing its appreciation to all of our amazing key workers who continue to deliver vital services through these difficult times.
The highly esteemed Japanese manufacturer has kindly pledged free-of-charge breakdown assistance to all key workers across the UK who drive a Nissan car or van. You can even make use of the service if your current vehicle warranty has expired.
@NissanUK tweeted “We can’t thank the UK’s key workers enough for all they’re doing to keep the nation going. To help them keep going, we’re providing free-of-charge Roadside Assistance to all key workers who own a Nissan vehicle, regardless of its age and warranty. Stay safe everybody.”
Nissan’s \'Key Worker Roadside\' service includes any roadside repair as well as recovery to the nearest Nissan service centre. Additionally, courtesy cars will be prioritised to all key workers.
Andrew Humberstone, Managing Director of Nissan GB, said: “We are extremely grateful to our nation’s key workers for their selfless dedication and commitment.”
Nissan has also stated that all customer vehicle warranties (non-key workers included) will be honoured in spite of any scheduled service or warranty repair that may have been missed as a result of the current lockdown restrictions.
Their website states: “During the imposed COVID19 government lockdown Nissan want to support our customers. Therefore in the event any customer who has a routine service or warranty repair delayed during this period and cannot have the required work started and/or completed, Nissan will honour the warranty on the vehicle.”
“Additionally, any customer who has previously benefited from our Nissan roadside assistance program through servicing at a Nissan dealership will have an automatic 6 month policy extension should the service due date fall between March and July 2020.”
If you are a key worker and own a Nissan vehicle, please call the RAC directly on 0330 159 0740 in the event of a breakdown.
