Kia have finally revealed the price and specifications for the new Kia Stonic SUV, that will be released in 2018. Prices will start from £16,295, and include the options of a 1.0 or 1.4 litre turbo three-cylinder petrol or a 1.6 litre turbodiesel. All including a 6 speed manual gears and a stop/start engine.
As standard the Stonic comes with Vehicle Stability Management, Electronic Stability Control and hill start assist. In the cabin the Stonic boasts a 7-inch display with DAB radio, MP3 and Apple Car Play/Android Auto, this also includes Bluetooth with voice recognition. Electric windows, air con and a six-speaker audio system.
Across the Stonic range all of these things come as standard:
Sienna Brown is the standard colour, this comes with a black roof on the first edition. More options include, Clear White, Blaze Red, Graphite and Midnight Black. To give the Stonic a more personal tone, you can choose between 5 different contradictory roof colours. This will allow you to get 20 different signature looks.
Kia claim that the standard model will come with a generous amount of leg and headroom and plenty of shoulder room. You will have no problem fitting 3 adults in the back.
This is the more premium model which includes a 1.6 litre diesel with 108bhp and 260Nm, 0 – 60 in 10.9S and 67.3mpg. The first edition also comes equipped as standard with Kia’s Autonomous Emergency Breaking, lane departure warning system and blind spot detection with rear cross traffic alert. As well as the standard 7-inch radio, it includes navigation and an infotainment system, coupled with Kia connected services and TomTom. Included with the First edition is smart key entry, black cloth and grey faux leather upholstery, stainless steel pedals, auto air con, LED rear lights and rear privacy glass. The first edition also includes additional colour options. The boot of the first edition will include a two-step floor which will allow you to expand or reduce the amount of boot space.
