New and improved Kia cee'd range arrives at Sandicliffe

The Kia cee\'d has long been a popular choice for East Midlands motorists with its combination of style, value and unique seven year warranty. Now, an upgraded cee\'d range has landed at Sandicliffe and these new models are the first to feature Kia’s new and advanced ecoTurbo petrol engine and seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

The new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission was developed at Kia\'s Namyang research and development facility and is available exclusively on the 1.6 CRDi engine. It offers the comfort of an automatic with the sports performance of a manual gearbox.

Available from £14,905, the new Kia cee\'d also boasts an ecoTurbo petrol engine which brings reductions of up to 25 per cent in fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions. As well as being more cost efficient and environmentally friendly, the range also features new driver aids and additional connectivity features.

Billy Wright, Kia Brand Manager at Sandicliffe, comments: ”The new and improved cee’d family has arrived and we can’t wait to show it off to our customers. As well as an upgraded cee\'d we also have the new pro_cee\'d - available from £15,250 - and the new Sportwagon, available from just £16,750.

If you\'re looking for a sportier model, the new cee\'d GT-Line is also now available at our Kia dealerships. Available from £20,220 you benefit from a deep front bumper and ice-cube style LED daytime running lights as well as duel exhausts (twin tailpipes on the Sportswagon) and 17 inch alloys.

The interior boasts a luxurious feel including a leather steering wheel and faux black leather door inserts with silver stitching. The car also comes with a ‘GT Mode’ button on the steering wheel, synthesising the 1.6-litre revving engine noise into the cabin.

Mr Wright from Sandicliffe, the new and used Kia experts, adds: "The new Kia cee\'d range also comes with a range of additional driver features. Depending on your choice of model, you can also benefit from Blind Spot Detection, a 7-inch navigation screen, a DAB radio with MP3 compatibility and a Speed Limit Information Function.

"All versions of the new cee\'d have fully independent suspension to improve comfort and handling, and diesel models feature additional noise-insulating technology. Of course, every Kia model available at Sandicliffe also comes with Kia’s unique seven-year warranty."
