Kia Earns New Car of the Year & Franchise Partner of the Year at 2020 AM Awards
Kia is named Franchise Partner of the Year while Kia e-Niro earns New Car of the Year at the 2020 AM Awards on Thursday 13th February.

For the third time, Kia Motors (UK) was recognised as Franchise Partner of the Year at this year’s Automotive Management Awards. The South Korean manufacturer also won New Car of the Year for the brand’s all-electric model – the Kia e-Niro.
The Kia Niro Self-Charging Hybrid was shortlisted for Used Car of the Year along with the brand’s bestselling mid-size SUV, the Kia Sportage, which took home WhatCar?’s Best Used Family SUV last year.
Tim Rose, Judge and Editor of AM, said: “The fact that Kia Motors UK has won this award in three of the past four years is testament to the mutual respect shared between the manufacturer and its franchisees.”
Commenting on the e-Niro’s win, Tim Rose added: “The e-Niro has shown consumers that they can have a highly-efficient, premium-grade electric car that doesn’t cost a fortune and won’t need daily charging by many owners. There’s a waiting list for the e-Niro because Kia dealers can’t get enough, and that illustrates how worthy it is of this award.”
