Get a sneak peek of exciting new Nissan models

Keep it quiet, but Sandicliffe are giving you a sneak preview of two of the year’s most eagerly awaited new models this August. We will be taking the wraps off the all-new Nissan Note and the latest incarnation of the marque’s iconic Micra supermini at two exciting special events on 16th and 17th August. We are hosting these two very special launch days at our Loughborough showroom on 16 August and at our Hucknall showroom on 17 August. There has already been extensive interest in these two new models which, together with the popular Juke urban crossover, will form Nissan’s new-look small car range. Nissan Micra Adam Ferdinando, Nissan Brand and Group New Car Manager at Sandicliffe, said: “We’re expecting big things from both the new Note and Micra when they are fully launched in the UK later this year. These preview events will give you the chance to be among the first in the country to see the new cars in the metal and will give you a unique insight into what you can expect.” Completely redesigned from the ground up, the new Note has been engineered for the European market, and is built at Nissan’s Sunderland factory in the UK.

Available to order now, deliveries of the new Nissan Note will start in October. Among the model’s many highlights are its Safety Shield technologies, linking three safety systems to create a comprehensive driver assistance protection package. The model is also available with Nissan’s acclaimed Around View Monitor, a feature that provides drivers with a remarkable 360-degree bird’s eye view to make reversing a worry-free affair. Three engines are available from launch: a 1.2-litre three-cylinder unit that generates 80PS, a 98PS 1.2-litre supercharged DIG-S and a 1.5-litre dCi diesel that produces 90PS. A CVT transmission is available on the 1.2-litre DIG-S engine. Nissan-Note-2013-rear The new Note’s four-model range starts with the entry-level Visia from £11,900 that features a comprehensive equipment list including idle stop/start, front electric windows, remote central locking and cruise control. Meanwhile, the Micra, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary, benefits from a bold new look and also receives a complete interior makeover. A new centre console, upgraded materials, higher equipment levels and USB connectivity all feature as standard, while the new NissanConnect navigation and communication system, complete with state-of-the-art 5.8-inch touchscreen display, is also available for the first time on the model. Other clever technologies include a Parking Slot Measurement system and an I-Key feature that allows you to keep your keys in your pockets or bags when locking, unlocking and starting your Micra.

The launch range consists of three familiar trim grades and the option of two advanced engines: a 1.2-litre 80PS unit and a 1.2-litre supercharged DIG-S powerplant with 98PS. A CVT transmission is available on both engines. Nissan Micra The new Micra range structure starts with the value-packed Visia model which is priced from £9,950 and features six airbags, Bluetooth phone integration, electric front windows, remote central locking and USB connectivity. The mid-grade Acenta models cost from £11,550 and add alloy wheels, leather steering wheel with audio controls, climate control and cruise control, while range-topping Tekna variants start at £12,950 and include NissanConnect navigation, Parking Slot Measurement, rear parking sensors and Intelligent Key with engine start button. The new Micra is available to order now with first deliveries in September.
