Freedom Day and Moving Forwards
Freedom Day has marked the country open for business as usual. This is how Sandicliffe are moving forward from July 19th.
July 28, 2021
July 19th was marked “freedom day” by the UK press, a day that opened up the UK for business as usual, made social distancing a distant memory, made the wearing of masks optional in the majority of places and threw the rule of 6 away, meaning you can meet however many people you like, wherever you’d like.
With Covid-19 cases on the rise and a rush to get back to normal, many of us are left a little bit unsure of how to proceed. Whilst some people threw out their masks with a hurrah, some are naturally a little more cautious.
So how are Sandicliffe moving forward post freedom day?
With cases of Covid on the rise, we think it’s sensible for us to carry on taking precautions to keep our staff and their families and you and your family safe.
To make your visit to us as safe and stress free as possible, we’re continuing with the following precautions:
Our staff will continue to wear masks whilst they are face to face with you to prevent the spread of germs. Hand sanitiser will continue to be prominent in our receptions, showrooms and workshops, our staff will continue to sanitise throughout the day, and we encourage our clients to use some too.
We ask that our customers follow the existing one-way systems that we have marked out in the showrooms and keep their distance from other customers to prevent the spread of the virus.
Finally, whilst masks are not mandated we highly encourage or customers to wear one whilst indoors at any of our locations for the protection of our staff and other customers.
We look forward to welcoming you to Sandicliffe!
