Kia Sportage

Kia teased us with some sketches of the new Sportage for 2016, then leaked photos from a Korean car site showed us a closer look. It still wasn’t close enough, so thankfully the crossover will officially debut in Frankfurt. Inspired by the Kx3 concept from last year, a range of engines will be offered as well as a new powertrain possibly an EV version. The varied and versatile range could set the Sportage as a real competitor against the Nissan Qashqai.

Mazda Koeru Concept Car

Mazda will unveil their Koeru concept car, a SUV crossover that is said to follow its predecessor the CX-7 with a seven-seat design. The concept SUV will have a striking design aiming to sit alongside the CX-5 as a flagship model.

Kia Optima 2016

The new saloon will see an updated design, a roomier interior and a new version of the 1.7-litre diesel engine that will be the only engine available when launched.

With aerodynamic styling, Kia have promised that the new Optima will be evolutionary with a high quality interior and ultimate comfort. The model is important to Kia’s European line-up as it offers buyers something fresh and new in comparison to other models.

Nissan Navara

Nissan Leaf

We have heard a lot of rumours about the upgraded Nissan Leaf that is set for release next year before the release of the game changing next-gen Leaf.

There will be announcements on both the upgrade and the all-new 2017 Leaf. With a 30kw battery, the upgrade will outperform the current Leaf’s 80-100 mile range by reaching around 150-160 miles on a full charge.
