June 26, 2018
For over 10 years now Sandicliffe have been recognising and rewarding staff within various departments of the business who have gone the extra mile in their role.
Kevin Beeton, Internet Parts Advisor, Loughborough, on winning this month’s non-customer facing champion award from his Manager.
Staff can nominate colleagues however we also consider the positive feedback we receive from customers. Recently we have introduced a new category, the ‘Social Champion Awards’ this is where our staff nominate a colleague who has gone out their way to boost online exposure for our dealerships on Facebook and our other social channels. Through innovative and frequent posting or turned negative reviews into positive’s as well as giving customers a positive online experience and perception of the business.
With the addition of the social category, we are able to show appreciation and drive more staff to undertake more of an online side to the business, coupled with our other categories staff have more opportunities than ever to be nominated.
Our awards also go out to customer-facing staff, sales, aftersales and non-customer facing, to make sure everyone is included no matter what part of the business they work in. At the end of each month, a winner from each category is chosen and are awarded a £25 voucher and trophy to keep on display for the month.
Richard Doolan, Sales Advisor, Loughborough (Nissan), winning this month’s customer-facing champion award from his Manager (Simon Lovell) and Nissan Sales Performance Manager (Christa Loflund).
Richard was nominated for the following reason by a customer – “I am writing this email to praise the service I received from your Nissan branch at Sandicliffe Loughborough, in particular, Richard Doolan. I actually went into Sandicliffe with the intention of taking a Motability car out with Ford as that is the main dealership at Sandicliffe, I was talked into looking at the Juke by my sister which I did, this is where I spoke to Richard. He was polite and asked what I wanted, he suggested trying an automatic, I said I’ll think about it then later that day I received a video from Richard: https://video.citnow.com/vts7VHGCMH8
I thought that was really good so I booked a driving test with an instructor to try an automatic, Richard said cancel the lesson I’ll take you for a test drive… From the initial chat, the recommendation, the video which I thought was an amazing touch to the proper test drive. I thank you and hope the thanks will be passed on in some way.”
