Boasting a raft of improvements, Ford are following up their best year since 1989 by adding another superb vehicle to their range.
David Haynes, Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager at Sandicliffe, said: "The Ford Ranger has been a hugely popular choice for years and the 2016 model is the best yet.
"As well as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, front and rear park assist, forward alert and hill-descent control, drivers will also benefit from Ford\'s state-of-the-art Sync 2 in-car infotainment system with voice and touchscreen control.
"The new Ranger is also more fuel efficient. The 198bhp 3.2-litre Duratorq five-cylinder diesel engine now offers 18 per cent better fuel consumption while the base 128bhp model improves its \'miles per gallon\' figure by 22 per cent."
The first pick-up to be awarded a five-star crash test rating by Euro NCAP, the Ranger also picked up the prestigious International Pick-Up Award in 2013. Reviews of the 2016 Ford Ranger have been positive with What Car calling it \'a practical and well-priced pick-up that’s surprisingly safe and enjoyable to drive\'. Auto Express was also impressed, saying that \'with a comprehensive set of upgrades, this new Ranger looks better than ever.\'
Mr Haynes from Sandicliffe added: "Last year was only the second time in history that Ford have sold more than 100,000 commercial vehicles in the UK. This is testament to the quality of the current Ford range and the new Ranger is just the latest in a line of high quality commercials.
"If you are looking for a commercial vehicle I would urge you to come to our special test drive events at our Stapleford and Leicester FordStores to see just how good the latest Ranger is."
