Brought to you by Nottingham City Council, more than 40,000 people are expected to show up to this amazing display in the heart of Nottingham and it’s for the whole family. With two fantastic fireworks displays being held at the Forest Recreational Ground, a small one at 7:15 for the kids and the main attraction starting at 9 pm. It will be host to a fun-filled evening which includes a fair with rides for both kids and bigger kids!
Entry is free however you will have to pay for the rides.
If you come down to the Robin Hood Festival, you are sure to leave amazed, with the site claiming the display is “Better than anything you will see locally”. With a bonfire, mini funfair, live music, real ale and a hog roast you might be asking, how can this be better than the others? Well, this firework display isn’t just one display; the Robin Hood festival of fireworks will host an impressive 2 Firework displays, a ‘children’s fantasy’ fireworks display at 6:30 followed by ‘a crescendo of dambusting’ fireworks display commemorating 100 years of the RAF.
Tickets are, £15 for a family of 5, £7 for adults, children are £2, students £4 or £16 for 5 students. Ticket prices increase from midnight on Friday, November 2.
The Great Central Railway in Ruddington hosts a night full of hot food, drinks, live music, funfair and one of the biggest and best fireworks displays in Leicestershire. You can arrive at the gate or travel in heritage style by train from Loughborough, Rothley, or Leicester North stations. Tickets are £8 for adults, £5 for children and a family ticket will cost £21.00, with discounts when you book in advance. As mentioned you can also book to get to the event via Loughborough, Rothley or Leicester North stations.
